All of us at WFMP are committed to your safety. •We will be cleaning regularly and especially high traffic areas at both clinics •We will be wiping down and disinfecting surfaces at both clinics •We are providing access to hand sanitizer at both clinics and/or masks if necessary •We are encouraging staff who are sick to stay at home and away from others •We have changed the layout of our waiting rooms to allow for social distancing
Now we need YOUR help to keep us all safe: •We are asking you to cancel your appointment if you are feeling unwell with a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or a sore throat. •We are asking you to comply with the Chief Medical Officer of Alberta’s recommendation of self-isolation for 14 days if you returned from travel outside of Canada since March 12, 2020. •We are asking that if you have returned from travel before March 12 that you monitor for symptoms for 14 days. •We are asking that if you have been in close contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19, whether you are sick or not, you should self-isolate for 14 days from the day of exposure. •For travellers, we are asking that if you develop symptoms- cough, fever or difficulty breathing to stay home and complete the online COVID-19 self-assessment at alberta.ca/COVID or if you don’t have access to the internet call 811 (Health Link). DO NOT GO TO THE ER OR DOCTORS OFFICE. •We are asking that you use hand sanitizer when you come into the clinic. •We are asking that you arrive on time and not early for your appointment and to be cognizant of your appointment time and duration to ensure the safety of others. We all need to do our part to contain COVID-19. As always, the safety of our patients, staff and doctors is of the utmost importance.
