ALBERTA SCREENING AND PREVENTION

Alberta Screening & Prevention has been an initiative at WFMP since 2013. It is a process where the physicians and staff can work together to ensure that the patient receives the most efficient care our staff can provide.

We do this by referring to the recommended screening maneuvers (tests). In the month of your birth, the screening coordinator at WFMP will ensure that you are up to date with screening and when the last time you had a complete physical with your family doctor. You may receive a call to have lab work / mammogram / bone density or even be booked for a Complete Wellness Visit during the month of your birth if your screening is not up to date.
